Overwhelmed

Another painting is from my yet to be published book. The poem was adjusted to make it more relevant for this website. The 3 parts were kept; the initial feeling, my options for improvements and the goals I kept in my mind. OVERWHELMED I observe my life It looks all very complicated, Stressing and depressing, Too much to deal with. Nearly impossible to figure out, Which direction should I take? I already tried so many different ways. How can I master all this? I am at a total loss. But look at it differently! What a fascinating world is out there, Complicated, beautiful and challenging. With support, advice and insight I am working out my direction in life, And become aware of where to start. My new insight has given me options On what to do, To sit through the difficult times, Until I can see it all clearer. I be in charge to choose directions, To plan my life, Just one step at a time. Achieve goals as I set for myself. Live my life In harmony with myself And the outside world.
