This bird is part of the series from my admiration of Australian wild life. Being a Dutch immigrant here, I am always amazed what I see of the unique flora and fauna in Australia. I would love to preserve this as much as possible.
In my garden, I have planted many native honey trees and now a wattlebird is a very frequent visitor here and makes its presence clear with its loud calls. They are great to watch hanging upside down in the trees to get to the honey in the trees! Enjoy this image and the story of the wattlebird.
