Another Magpie stand off. It is unusual for one magpie to be much larger than another. In this case the larger magpie is the younger and is begging for food when no longer really eligible. This painting was a rush job as part of a story board process to show steps from feeding the live Maggie’s to photographing them and then doing the painting. I was surprised the next day when I looked at it and saw to my satisfaction what you see now.
