This was my mother's china. She never used it, we kept it for best in the china cabinet.
In those days, it was considered too precious to use.
I like that I can paint this set and "use" it as a prop. It is the epitome of vintage.
The carefully carved and painted handles, serving their purpose, but also looking beautiful at the same time.
