The relationship between physical exercise and being out in nature inspires me massively. Wherever I travel I take a sketchbook and a small set of watercolours and some pens. It’s handy, quick, and easy to clean as well as being light weight which is a factor on my journeys.
This watercolour is based on a plein air sketch of the Murray River, from the cliffs in South Australia.
I used watercolours, watercolour inks, black ink and acrylics.
