Fred is an artist residing in Adelaide, South Australia. He considers that his work can be categorised as contemporary tonal realism, and is mainly comprised of portraiture and figurative art. While he has a fondness for the dramatic settings and tones of the Italian and French Baroque, he enjoys exploring the infinite possibilities that exist with representing the human form and portraiture, whether it's the figure's capacity for expression, flexibility and sensuality, or the face's endless ability to communicate subtleties of expression, by way of oils, charcoal and pastel. With an extensive background in education, he runs workshops, and is also available for commission work.
